This is my new and improved image of the first project I posted. I just made a few small changes but I think it added a lot to the image as a whole. -Tessa

The images came out darker than they appeared on photoshop. It worked out for some of the pictures but the first one is kind of hard to see. I love horror movies so I wanted to make a series of horror movie clips.
INSTRUCTIONS for Final Critique
1) The final critique will happen in Art Building B, drawing studio, from 9-12 tomorrow (Friday!). You should arrive by 8:45 to set-up your computer and hang prints.
2) Your portfolio will be graded on technique, creativity, effort and quality of presentation. Please show your work to it's fullest advantage- cut boarders of prints evenly, hang works neatly, have digital files ready to project, set-up any additional props (mirrors, screens, or whatever) to project digital images onto.
3) All completed works will be posted onto the BLOG before class starts. Works posted after class will be given a grade reduction of -5%.
4) Write comments for each other students final works. The final comments should not suggest any changes (as the works are complete) but should look for connections between multiple works made by one person. Additionally you should look for trends and make comparisons between works from more than one student. Blog comments should be posted before class on Friday.

This is what I currently have of my landscape. The final image is supposed to look like the image below ( from http://www.fanpop.com/clubs/green/images/19838891/title/green-trees-wallpaper) but with two paths. I'm attempting to replace the ground with a diamond texture, the paths with a sapphire texture, and the sky with an obsidian texture. The trees will either have an emerald or ruby texture.

For my portrait piece, I wanted to make series of scary pictures because I love horror films. I used my laptop for this picture but I plan on using my camera over the weekend and try to make a collection of scary images. I let a friend borrow my camera and I am not getting it back till tomorrow.
