In all of your work there is definitely a grotesque and out-of-place element that continues to show itself. You tend to take realistic photos of normal everyday things and add something off-putting or that shouldn't be there, and I think all of them were successful. Does the video have sound? I couldn't hear any so assume not, but I think it would benefit from it a lot, but the visuals are good. I think in a way some of our work is kind of similar in our intentions - taking something normal and adding another element to make it weird or funny or creepy. We just went about it in different ways.
This piece is awkward and funny. I like how you incorporated the kid to give the viewer an uncomfortable surprise. Most of your work gives off this foreboding feeling as the viewer can sense that something is not right.
