Hi everyone! This is Johnny. Sorry I took so long to upload the picture. I accidently deleted everything I was working on this morning but thankfully I wrote down all the ranges for the colors in each layer so it didnt take as long to remake. One of my favorite things to demonstrate when making art is depth which I tried to accomplish in my spiral. I used darker colors in the middle and lighter colors around the edges. I also blurred the first few layers to make it appear as if they were farther away. I used TVfuzz in the middle because I thought it would make a nice contrast with the rest of the picture. I also plan on using film grain texture on the closer circles and have the texture decrease as it goes further into the spiral. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks

I really like the symmetry and I think it's done very well so far, and I like your continuing ideas. The only thing I can really think of to improve would be to make the circles that are closest to the center even more dark to show just a little more contrast because at first I didn't see it fully. I think it could be a little more obvious.
ReplyDeleteThat is done well. Big fan of the TV fuzz int he center also like the shading of the further circles. But i do agree that the center circles should be darker to make it look deeper.
ReplyDeleteYou definitely are rocking the space and depth element here. Also, I dig your colour choice. Are you wanting the circles to be percieved as full spheres or as flat floating circles? Either way, some shading would be your best buddy.
